Fire Protection Outfitters is a distributor and manufacturer of Flame Retardant (FR) and Non FR Uniforms in Pasadena, Texas. Our 10,000 sf showroom and factory carries a large inventory of well-known FR brands such as Ariat FR, Bulwark, Carhartt FR, FlameRwear, WorkRite, Wrangler FR, and Viking FR.
Our goal is to offer customers a large selection of FR garments that fits all types of jobs in the oil and chemical industry. Our large inventory paired with in-house alterations, embroidery, and manufacturing provides customers with prompt turn-around.
Our own FlameRwear brand products include coveralls, shirts, and lab coats in various FR fabric such as Nomex and FR Cotton/Nylon. FlameRwear apparel has gained recognition for being durable and continuing to look good after many uses. We begin with the best quality FR fabrics in the market to minimize pilling and lint buildup after several washes. Every panel is precisely cut by the computerized Gerber system, then sewn carefully, and reinforced to increase the wear life. We also choose heavier Nomex thread and apply high stitch density to minimize seam breaks. All FlameRwear FR apparel meets ASTM F-1506 and NFPA 70E & 2112 requirements.
